By reducing trade barriers and strengthening regional value chains, AfCFTA has the potential to accelerate industrialisation, boost intra-African trade and unlock sustainable economic growth across the continent.<\/p>\n<p>While AfCFTA represents the world\u2019s largest free trade area by number of participating countries, unlocking its full potential will depend on practical implementation across key sectors, including manufacturing, logistics, standards harmonisation and industrial infrastructure.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"td_quote_box td_box_center\">\n<p>According to industry leaders, Africa\u2019s industrial future will depend on the continent\u2019s ability to transition from fragmented national markets toward integrated regional manufacturing systems.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Discussions at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.globalafricanetwork.com\/sectors\/secondary-industries\/manufacturing\/manufacturing-indaba-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manufacturing Indaba<\/a>\u00a0will focus on how African economies can leverage the AfCFTA framework to develop regional production networks, strengthen supply
