I<\/span>nfrastructure South Africa (ISA) hosted the Sustainable Infrastructure Development Symposium South Africa (SIDSSA) 2025<\/strong> between 25 and 27 May in Century City, Cape Town. The SIDSSA is a pioneering event aimed at bringing together key stakeholders, experts, and decision-makers in the field of infrastructure development.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Keynote address at the Symposium was delivered by H.E President Cyril Ramaphosa on 27 May 2025.\u00a0The symposium was anchored by the Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Mr. Dean Macpherson and various other Ministers and Deputy Ministers who led numerous panel discussions and technical discussions throughout the Symposium.\u00a0<\/p>\n

During the symposium, Infrastructure South Africa launched the second edition of the Construction Book<\/strong>, featuring over 250 projects valued at more than R268-billion \u2013 nearly double the value of the previous edition.<\/p>\n

In addition, the top seven catalytic projects were announced for project preparation support<\/strong>, benefiting from a first-of-its-kind R600-million funding allocation to accelerate their implementation.<\/p>\n

Team Gauteng at SIDSSA 2025<\/h3>\n

The Gauteng Provincial Government, led by Premier Panyaza Lesufi, showcased a bold portfolio of bankable, transformative infrastructure projects<\/strong> at SIDSSA 2025.<\/p>\n

As a strategic partner of the Summit, Team Gauteng participated under the theme: \u201cDelivering Catalytic, Scalable Infrastructure for Inclusive Growth<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"Gauteng used the platform to demonstrate how infrastructure development is central to unlocking economic potential, creating jobs, and enabling the Just Transition, while accelerating the implementation of the Gauteng Infrastructure Masterplan and the South African Economic Reconstruction and Recovery Plan (ERRP).<\/p>\n
